Abstract
The best nutrition for babies is breast milk; nevertheless, problems with the mother or the child may cause breastfeeding to be stopped temporarily or permanently. According to WHO and UNICEF, pasteurized donor milk is advised as an infant's first option. Ethiopia does not have a human milk bank yet, but the Ministry of Health is considering to establishing one. It is important to carefully assess if mothers perspective on the acceptability before establishing a human breast milk bank.
