Abstract
Insufficient knowledge, attitude and practices with respect to food safety can contribute to the outbreaks of food borne illness. Most foods, to include meat, legume and vegetable based sauces, could be vulnerable to food borne pathogens. More specifically, there is an association of inadequate Knowledge, negative attitudes and poor practices on food hygiene, with hygienically unsuitable condition, and unfit food handling practices
