The magnitude of difficult laryngoscopy ranged from 6% to 27%. Poor patient evaluation can cause unanticipated difficult intubation and severe adverse effects. A variety of tests were used both separately and together, with varying degrees of success. However, it is unclear which of these bedside tests is best at predicting difficult laryngoscopies
