Item Designing Pediatricians Communities of Practice the Case of Government Hospitals in Addis Ababa(Addis Ababa University, 2009-07) Regassa, Abebe; Bekele, Rahel (PhD)Social media tools are changing the way people communicate collaborate and interact in the day to day activities of employees of the organization on especially in sharing tacit know ledge /or experience. This research work seeks t o design communities of practice as the strategy for acquiring and sharing knowledge using one of the appropriate social media tools for government hospitals in Addis Ababa A qualitative expel oratory ca se stud y research design is selected to conduct this research. Structured interview, questionnaire survey and informal discussions were used to collect data that support the analysis. T he result of data analysis shows that communities of practice is the best alternative of acquiring and sharing know ledge using electro Nicomedia to communicate with peer physician s.
