    Hemodialysis the most commonly used renal replacement therapy (RRT) in the world. Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the preferred method of vascular access for hemodialysis because of its superior long-term patency and better complication profile compared to arteriovenous graft (AVG) or central venous catheter (CVC).
