    Transitional Problem from Tigrinya to English as Medium of Instruction in Tigray: the Case Of : Weri-Leke Wereda

    This paper is aimed at investigating the pro81e-ms of trwlsition from ' Tigrinya to English as medium of instruction in Tigray taking Wer'leke wereda as a sample. The study included five instruments; observation, questionnaire, interview, test, and documents analysis to collect data. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive method and percent.age. The data analyzed indicates that students in high school are highly affected by language (English) difficulty to learn other subjects. And this language difficulty causes their failure. So many problems are the reasons behind the students' lack of English proficiency in high school. These are such as class SLZe, lack of facilities, teachers ' training and others.
