The mathematical modeling of the transmission dynamics of norovirus in a population is designed and rigorously analyzed using some dynamical system theories and techniques. The model was used to gain insight into the disease dynamics and to evaluate control strategies of the norovirustransmission . The model has both global asymptotic stability and local asymptotic stability whenever the reproduction number is less than one. Numerical simulations of the model show that the use of basic control measure strategy is more effective than the treatment strategy while the combination of the two control strategies has a good effective impact on the community in controlling the transmission of the virus .
