dc.description.abstract | From the analysis of IFPRI five round survey data from 2006 to 2014 this study has examined the impact of Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP) on Resilience to environmental shocks and Welfare of beneficiary households. In this study the analysis was made using Difference in Difference method of panel data analysis. This study has found Positive impact of PSNP on beneficiaries’ Resilience to shock; measured using Food Gap, inconclusive impact of beneficiaries Welfare; measured using Per-capita expenditure and PSNP impact on Welfare of program participant has been concluded as Negative based on causal effect analysis of PSNP and households Welfare; using Asset Accumulation. This study has also recommended to measure program impact by classifying resilience effect of PSNP in to ex-antie analysis and ex-post analysis of shock resilience and indicates the potential effect of possible policy changes particularly policy issues related to the program such as payment size and PW involvements.
