Abstract
The Ethylacetate extracts of the fermentation culture broths of c. coffeanum and Fusarium sp , gaveaphytot oxic a ndantibiotic compound identified as Brefeldin A and an uncharacterized an tibiotic compound respectively . Brefeldin A has not hitherto been is olatedfrm the genus Colletotrichum. The structure was elucidated by spectro scopicmeans and comparison with the literature. C. coffeanum isafungus that causes coffeeberry disease and has not been chemically studied before
