dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted aiming to explore the role of Mothers of Children with cerebral palsy Cheshire Ethiopia rehabilitation Center in Addis Ababa. The study specifically focused the role, perception and challenges of mothers in rehabilitation center. Descriptive qualitative study type approach was used to explore the lived experience of mothers of children with cp and semi- structured interviews were applied with five mothers of children with simple random sampling technique was implemented. FGD and observation were also used for data collection. Findings of the study indicated that mother of children living with cerebral palsy involved in the rehabilitation center. They were challenged by lack of financial support, transport and physical treatment training for mother of children with cerebral palsy. Results also pointed out that the effects of those challenges in mothers of children with cerebral palsy life such as psychological injurers, emotional disturbance, and financial problem. Findings provide detailed information and used as indicator of the need for further research on the role of mothers children with cerebral palsy in the rehabilitation center. The results of this study also hoped to give information and direction for researchers, rehabilitation center, policy makers, planners what should be done in the future and take measures to reduce their lifelong challengeen_US
