dc.description.abstractThe excitation functions for several residues produced in the system 20Ne+59Co have been studied in the energies range 62.9-150.2 MeV. The experimental excitation functions have been compared with those calculated using computer code PACE4 and COMPLET. The experimental studied production cross-sections for non-alpha emitting channels were found to be in good agreement with theoretical predictions which may be attributed to the complete fusion (CF) processes. However in case of alpha emitting channels, there are signatures of incomplete fusion for more than two alphas emitting and pre-equilibrium for alpha emitting reactionsen_US
