| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between empowerment factors and employee performance in the Service sector (Freight Forwarding Company). It also aims to examine the impact of empowerment on the performance of employees. The questionnaires were sent to 50 randomly selected respondents from three branches to fill it. Both descriptive and explanatory method was used to make the analysis. The findings indicate that employees in PAG find that empowerment moderately influences employee performance. Training practice affects employee performance positively and significantly, Award practice has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance and decision making has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. There is significant correlation between the factors of empowerment and employee performance. Employees feel that when they are empowered with participation in decision making, Awarded with a transparent system by which everyone is participating, and trained based on need assessment, their performance will improve significantly. The implications of these findings are discussed and suggestions for future research are also identified and proposed. | en_US |
