dc.description.abstractThis study examined the use of Multi-sensory Methods in Some Selected preschools in Addis Ababa. The case of selected Government preschools centers in Sub-cites of Addis Ababa, It is a descriptive survey research, which aimed at assessing the use of multisensory teaching methods in six purposively selected ECCE’s in yeka, Arada and Gullele Sub cities. Data were collected using questionnaire and observation. The questioner administered to 60 teachers but only 45 0f them completed. Data were tallied and analyzed using percentages. Findings showed that, the uses of multisensory in preschools are encouraging. Although Visual stimulation and test and smell activities were list employed. This was found to be due to low budget allocated for ECCE. The academic staff, in terms of training was found to be inadequate and require continuous training. Recommendations were made towards incorporating various multi-sensory teaching methods in preschools.en_US
