dc.description.abstractChildhood cancer (also called pediatric cancer) typically means different type of cancers that are found in children and teens, and sometimes young adults. Childhood cancers initiate from genetic alterations in individual cells, triggering their uncontrolled growth into masses or tumors. If left untreated, these tumors can infiltrate other bodily tissues, resulting in significant harm and potentially fatal consequences. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the impact reverberates through the entire family, with parents bearing a significant emotional, economical and psychological burden and it makes the family to lose hope
