As far as a wind power generation technology increases, selecting the better wind turbine blade material is becoming more and more important. Modeling and stress analysis of wind turbine blade are very essential for further design and the application of wind turbine blade. The aim of the thesis is to conduct static structural analysis of wind turbine blade for six different ratios of Bamboo to E-glass fiber reinforced epoxy composite. NACA0012 airfoil is used for horizontal axis wind turbine blade section, which is the same throughout the blade length. Based on the parameters of airfoil and the geometrical parameters of blade, the three-dimension modeling has done using CATIA software. Maximum wind speed is 35m/s. The pressure on the blade surface are determined by CFD using ANSYS Fluent software. Static structural analysis has performed using FEA using ANSYS software. According to the displacement solution of blade, the maximal displacement occurs in the blade and the stress concentration occurs in the center of the blade. Depending on the displacement, safety factor and stress the FEM analysis result was discussed. The FEM results were compared with the tensile strength of the material and the safe displacement. Based on static simulation result among the six ratios of Bamboo to E-glass fiber have a better strength is 70:30%. The selected Bamboo to E-glass ratio material compare and contrast with previous work of wind turbine blade material.en_US
