dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to examine the impact of Human Resource training and development practices on employee‟s performance in the case of ministry of finance and economic cooperation. It tasted the training and development dimensions such as training need assessment, design, implementation and evaluation and examined its impact strength on the performance of employees. The study used primary and secondary data sources. Sample random sampling technique was used and self-administer questionnaire was distributed to 177 sample employees and interview for three training and development expert .Collected the relevant primary data sources from 150respondents and the other 11 respondents are not response. SPSS version 16 was used to analyze the data gathered. Descriptive analysis with the help of graphs, tables and percentages was used to describe and analyze the data . Correlation and regression an analysis was also used to see the relationships and the Impact strength between training and development and employee performance. The findings in the descriptive analysis revealed that there were training need assessment, training design, Training implementation and training evaluation practices of the Ministry of finance and economic cooperation as good impact of employee performance. Accordingly, Pearson correlation results revealed that training need assessment had positive and moderate degree of correlation , training evaluation had positive and moderate degree of correlation and training implementation had positive and moderate degree of correlation with employees job performance and also training design had positive and low degree of correlation with employees job performanceen_US
