Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the practice of change management at Heineken Breweries S.Co and the challenges it poses. The study employed a descriptive research design and a quantitative technique. Questionnaires and face-to-face interviews provided primary data, while earlier research, journals, articles, and books provided as secondary data. The study used a simple random sampling technique, where 127 questionnaires were used for further analysis. The collected data was analyzed by using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 28. The data collected data descriptive statistics; Percentage, frequencies, means, and standard deviations were used. The research found that the change implementation plan did not take into account the employees' feedback, which suggested that they believed the change had not impacted their way of working or their working culture, resulting in the employees' lack of interest in the change plan. As a result, the researcher proposed that the organization work on an awareness program before implementing the change plan, collect employee input, and train them to be the gear for change implementation and survive to make the change plan a success. To ensure that the change plan is successful, resistance must be controlled so that it can be countered by having a clear communication with employees about the impact and integrating resistance identification and solution tools
