dc.description.abstractIn the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is regarded as a key national investment that focuses on the development of its citizens based on the principle of nation building. To this end, currently, the government has designed nation wide implementing the TVET program. The purpose of this study was to examine leadership problems in the management of educational resources in Entoto, Weliso, Assela, Hosaina, General Wingate and Kombolcha TVET colleges of Ethiopia. For the execution of the study, a descriptive survey design was employed. In this endeavor, data were collected through questionnaire, interviews and document analysis. The data collected during the study revealed that the implementation of the TVET is affected by many factors related to planning, coordination, and staffing, financial and physical resources management. Consequently, it has indicated that the implementation of the program in those colleges was marked by the existence of inadequate number of qualified academic staffs, inefficient handling of educational resources and lack of financial, material, human, and physical resources. Based on the findings of the study, some valuable suggestions were forwarded for those deans, administrative and development vice deans, department heads, teachers, workers and offices of the colleges, who were frequently implicated during the course of the studyen_US
