dc.description.abstractThis thesis intends to show that the strong correlation observed between the braking indices (n) and the slowing down age ( ) of pulsars with alignment and counter alignment. We will calculate the braking index of young pulsar which is crab pulsar is less than 3 by using the braking mechanisms, electromagnetic and gravitational radiations,& the braking index for quadrupole radiation is equal to 5, and to show the ratio between the gravitational and electromagnetic contributions to the pulsar spin down rate its present values are always less than oneen_US
