dc.description.abstractCommercial bank of Ethiopia (CBE) is the biggest state owned bank and the largest commercial bank in the country. The bank has a vision to be a world class commercial bank by the year 2025. The main objective of this research is to identify the major factors influencing employee turnover in commercial bank of Ethiopia (CBE) and provide professional advices that would help the bank to reduce turnover and retain its competent personnel. The study used both primary and secondary data. The primary data was collected using semi structured questionnaires and interview with HR directs of the bank. Sample sizes of 126 employees were selected for the questionnaire. Interview with HR director was made based on the survey resulten_US
