dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this study was to see the effects of Talent Management practices on employee retention in CBE. To achieve this, some specific objectives were set. The research followed an explanatory cross-sectional design because it explains the relationship between the dependent and the independent variables. The data was collected by questionnaire which is designed in the form of a likert scale. The target population for this study consists of various categories of employees working in CBE. Totally 367 employees were sampled to participate in the study. Stratified sampling & simple random sampling method were employed. In all, a total number of 350(95.36%) questionnaires out of the 367 were used for the analysis. Primary and secondary data were used as a source data, questionnaire for the primary and review of litterateurs and documents for the secondary data. Statistical package for social science studies (SPSS) version 20 was used to analyze data collected through the close ended questionnaire. Descriptive statistics (frequency, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics like correlation and regression is used for analysis. Multiple regression analysis was used to test the strength and direction of relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The result of the correlation tests revealed positive and significant relationship with employee retention which came up as weak but positive relationship. A regression was employed to test the hypothesis. Finally banks are recommended to invest on employees to stay in the organization especially on compensations and rewards, Performance management, succession planning and recruitment and selection and suggested to new researchers to take a longitudinal study by adding other Talent Management practiceen_US
