In this work particle induced reaction on Aluminium (27Al) and Gold(197Au) in di erent energy range have been studied. Excitation function for the reaction chanells of the type 27 13Al( ,n)30 15P, 27 13Al( ,2p)29 13Al, 27 13Al( ,n+2p)28 13Al, 27 13Al ( , +n)26 13Al; 197 79 Au( ,n)200 81 Tl, 197 79 Au( ,2p)199 79 Au, 197 79 Au( ,n+2p)198 79 Au and 197 79 Au ( , +n) 196 79 Au were studied and comparative analyses were made for analogus reaction channels of both the light 27Al and heavy 197Au target nuclie. The experimentally measured excitation functions ob- tained from EXFOR data source, IAEA, have been compared with the theoretical calcu- lations with and without the inclusion of pre-equlibrium emission of particles, made by COMPLET code. Level density parameter is varied to get good agreement between the calculated and measured data with minimum e ort on parameter tting. In the study di erent reaction nature were observed between the heavy and light nuclides while being bombarded by the projectile of particle having the same energy rangeen_US
