dc.description.abstractThe Chloroform extract of Tephrosia pumila ( Lam.) Pers. (Leguminosae) revealed the presence of eight flavonoids. Out of t,hese three flavonoids were isolated. The major component was identified as the known praecansone A that requided structural revision based on l3C NfVlR and other spectroscopic data. The second component was characterized as a nevi isoflavune that is given the travial name pumilaisoflavone A.en_US
