Abstract
This research was conduct on the assessment of Logistics Performance in Flower Industry: The
Case of Floriculture Company in Ethiopia and concerned on the logistics performance. The
main objective of the research is to assessing of Logistics Performance in Flower Industry: The
Case of Floriculture Company in Ethiopia. The main research question was what level of
achievement of logistics performance dimension (efficiency, effectiveness and differentiation
is. The study used explanatory research designs. The researcher used cluster random sampling
and purposive sampling technique. Primary data gathering from 12 flower farms have been
employed to assess their logistics performance and gathering secondary data from written
document.
The data entry and analysis was conducted by using SPSS version 16. Data analysis was done by
using frequency and descriptive statistics, summarize, conclude and recommend the kindling
based on the point of the questioner answer of the respondent. It helps to conclude the level of
performing their logistics performance. The finding of the study revealed that each dimensions of
logistics performance (efficiency, effectiveness, and differentiation) are not necessarily trade-
offs, but rather are complementary. The study recommended for all flower industry continuously
improves their logistics performance. Furthermore, the outcome of this study expected to remind
top-level manager and concerned employees to assess and try to change the logistics activity
practices
