dc.description.abstractThe cyclic voltammetric study of cadmium(II) -aspartic acid system at pH 8 was undertaken. Through a series of diagnostic criteria, it was shown that the cadmium(II)-aspartic acid system at pH 8 underwent a CE (chemical reaction preceding an electron transfer) mechanism. Attempt was made to extract the kinetics of the homogeneous chemical reaction by using theoretical working curves drawn for such purpose and available in the literature.
