dc.description.abstractThis study examined the dimension of family-centered intervention for children with disabilities using the measures parental perceptions of care and its relationship to parental satisfaction and goal achievement. The sample consisted of 79 parents of children with disabilities of the total (272) caseload who were enrolled in Cheshire Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) program. The children ranged in age from 1. 75 to13.75 years, the mean chronological age of the children was 4.16 years and SD = 2.2S. All of the children had disabilities, out of which 45. 57% had developmental delays. Three measures including the Measure of Processes of Care (MPOC), Clients Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSQ-S) and Question on Goal Achievement were administered. The findings support the hypotheses that when parents perc",ive the intervention program as being family- centered they are more likely to satisfied with care and perceive their goals as being met, and have positive attitudes toward the ca reen_US
