Abstract
The main objective of this research is assessing the existing situations of informal settlements including the prevalence of these injustices and examining their degree of vulnerability as well as the responsible actors in order to recommend alternative mechanisms to alleviate these burdens and reducing their vulnerability. In order to meet the objectives,the cases were selected based on criteria.The study uses a case study method because of its exploratory and descriptive potential based on the qualitative data, and an integrated housing research approach has been adopted as a tool to demonstrate the case study. Data was collected from literature review by study the theory of informality, social and environmental injustice; direct observation, interview, questionnaires, and 8 households’ life stories are presented.
