A mixed research approach was employed. A total of 50 individuals (30 pupils with low vision, 15 teachers, 2 school principals and 3 Special Needs Experts) were participated. Simple random, purposive, and available sampling techniques were used. Functional Vision Assessment Test supplemented by Teacher Nomination, Questionnaire, Semi-structured interview, Observation checklist and Focus Group Discussions were employed to generate reliable and robust data. The data were analyzed quantitatively as well as qualitatively through descriptive statistics and thematic analysis techniques respectively. The findings indicated that there were a considerable number of pupils with low vision in the school. And they were entangled with diversified educational challenges. Among others, absence of functional vision assessment, and ignorance of the school towards their specific needs took the lion share and were the major bottlenecks these pupils face. Presence of well organized resource-room and itinerant teacher were opportunities identified. Consequently, some practical recommendations were forwardeden_US
