It is common and often undetected with negative impact on patient’s outcome if unrecognized and addressed. Mechanical Ventilator waveforms analysis is a non-invasive and reliable way of recognizing PVAs where advanced methods of identifying PVA are lacking, however it has not been well studied on residents working in poor setups.
