    Neutron Activation analysis using AN 2-41 AM-Be Neutron Source

    The purpose of this work is to explore the possibility of using an isotopic neutron source I'll' neutron activation analysis (N AA) for the first time at Addis Ababa University. An americium- beryllium neutron source was used to develop a method for activation analysis of copper in brass. Element analysis was completed by identilYing copper and then determining the concentration of copper in brass by comparative method. Neutron activation analysis of1. Ni and ~·In has been canied out, and the results are also discussed
