The Modi ed Sequential Linear Goal programming Method ForMultiple Objective Linear Programming Problems
(Addis Ababa University, 2014-10-27) Tadele, Geleta; Guta, Berhanu(PhD)
Most of the Real world decision making problems have multiple objectives, which cannot be optimized simultaneously due to the conicting nature of the objectives. Such problems can be solved by various methods to obtain the best-compromise solutions. Modi_ed Sequen- tial Linear Goal Programming (MSLGP) method can be used to solve Multiple Objective linear programming problems. In this paper it uses existing single objective Linear Pro- gramming (LP) techniques, and the information required in each iteration is taken from the previous iteration. This method is illustrated by some numerical examples, and provides `best-compromise' solution. Keywords: Multiple Objective Linear Programming; Modi_ed Sequential Linear Goal Pro- gramming
