    Adolescents’ Prosocial Behavior and its Relationships to Parenting Style and Peer Pressure Among Addis Ababa High School Students

    The current study investigated prosocial behavior, parenting style and peer pressure of adolescent students in secondary school. One hundred fifty adolescents (Mean age = 15.69 years, 48.7% females) measured their own prosocial behaviors, their perceptions of parenting styles of their parents used and positive and negative peer pressure they experienced from best friend(s). Questionnaires were used to collect data. Quantitative analyses (both descriptive and inferential statistics) were used to analyze the obtained data. The study shows that, altruism prosocial behavior is the most dominant type of prosocial behavior. There was no significant gender difference in overall prosocial behavior. The results further indicated that there was a significant gender difference in the parenting style. However, there was no significant mean difference in prosocial behaviors among adolescents from different parenting style background. Whereas there was significant mean difference in some prosocial behaviors of adolescents due to positive and negative peer pressures they experienced from best friend(s). The current study has important implications for parents, schools, government and non government sectors and practitioners who are concerned about promoting adolescents’ positive behaviors and discouraging negative behaviors

    This study is about assessing factors which are critical to project succes in information network security agency(INSA) it is adescriptive research. the target population of the study was the team leaders and team memebers who took role in undertaking of projects in the agency the total software development commercial projects in the agency in the past five years are 34. the researcher uses all project in order to gather the primary data. self administered questionnaire and focus group discussion are employed and after collecting adequate and enough data tabulation methods are used for analysis propose and in order to generate these categorized data statistical package for social science (SPSS)IBN version 23.4 was used major findings of the study revealed that executive management support.

    Identifying Factors Affecting the Diffusion of Bank Fusion Universal Bank Core Banking System: The Case of Awash International Bank S.Co.

    This thesis investigates the factors influencing the slow diffusion progress of Bank Fusion Universal Banking CORE Banking solution in Awash International Bank. While several studies exist investigating factors influencing information system adoption by organizations, this thesis is different in it tries to identify factors affecting the diffusion of an information system innovation. Thus, the present thesis considered the factors influencing the diffusion of BFUB CORE banking system by employees of AIB. To evaluate the factors affecting the diffusion of the innovation in AIB, Roger’s (1995) DOI model, Tornatzky and Fleischer ‘s (1990) TOE model, andRoger’s (2003) perceived attributes of technological innovation were adopted. The research started with the identification of the research problem and questions, and a review of related literature. The data collection included a process of data collection via questionnaire designed based on variables extracted from constructs and conducted to 145 employees, covering different salaries, ages educational background and job categories stages. The outcome of the study implies that there is complexity of the innovation and not enough time given for training to internalize the innovation. These two factors falls in the social and technological context of the conceptual framework of the study. The study recommended ways to get rid of these factors for a smooth and rapid innovation diffusion process in AIB. The study also directs future similar studies to include measuring the rate of diffusion of other new financial technologies like ATM, POS and IB.
