    Evaluation of Factors Contributing to the Success of REDD+ Investment Program Implementation in Ethiopia: Project Leaders and Team Members Perspective

    This study examines the factors influencing the success of REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) program implementation in Ethiopia. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study collects data from REDD+ project coordinators and team members through surveys and interviews. The research aims to identify the most critical factors, including policy frameworks, institutional arrangements, community participation, socio-economic considerations, and lessons from past REDD+ projects. Findings suggest that while Ethiopia's policy and regulatory environment is highly relevant and effective for REDD+ implementation, challenges remain in ensuring coherence across different policies and programs. The study emphasizes the importance of a people-centered approach, addressing local priorities, and strengthening stakeholder engagement for successful REDD+ implementation. The results provide valuable insights for informing future REDD+ interventions in Ethiopia and contribute to the broader understanding of factors influencing the success of REDD+ programs globally.
