    Performance Management In Construction: - Focus On Building Construction Performance Management System

    In Ethiopia & throughout the world, many industries have found Business process reengineering to be an effective approach in achieving dramatic improvements in production time and cost. Regardless little attention has been paid to its potential in the construction industry. This paper identifies the process gap that affects cost, time & quality as they are the three important key performance indicators to measure construction project performance on 63 respondents of ISO certified construction companies. The samples were drawn using convenient sampling techniques. Primary data was collected with the aid of questioners while secondary data is collected through reviewing related materials. The analysis is conducted using SPSS version 26. As per the contractor’s response and familiarity with the idea business performance reengineering framework will be recognized that can lead to building a system for evaluation. Using Business Performance Reengineering the current state of construction processes is mapped by considering clients, consultants & contractors as stakeholders on their contribution in the construction phase.
