    Injection Practice - A community Based Study

    A study on the extent and hygienic appropriateness of injection therapy was conducted in 1380 households and four governmental health institutions in Bahir Dar Woreda, north western Ethiopia. Systematically selected 1380 households both from the urban and rural settings and four governmental health care facilities were used as a sample to get data on injection practice from the community and health care providers. The household survey revealed a two weeks overall prevalence of inj ection therapy to be 13%. The rates were comparable in the rural and urban settings. A statistically significant (p
