Item Organisational Culture, Organisational Commitment, Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention: The Case of Ethiopian Ministry of Revenues(Addis Ababa University, 2023-06) Endalkachew Shibre; Mitiku Hambisa (PhD)The main purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship among organizational culture, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and turnover intention. Questionnaire and interview were used to gather information from a random sample of 293 (178 Male and 115 Female) professional employees of the Ministry of Revenues at Federal level. Correlational and regression analysis were used to analyse the quantitative data and narrative analysis was used to analyse the data gathered through interview. Statistically significant relation were found among organizational culture, organizational commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intention (p<.01). Only 7% of the variation in the turnover intention of employees was found to be explained by the culture in the Ministry of Revenues, the commitment of the employees and job satisfaction. No enough evidence was found to support a statistically significant difference in intention to quit with respect to the demographic variables. It was concluded that organizational culture, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction were strongly related variables that play roles in explaining turnover intention of employees.
