    Challenges and Problems to Join Ethiopian Super League in the Case of Assosa Kenema Football Club

    This study was intended to explore the major Challenges and Problems to Join Ethiopian Super League in the Case of Assosa Kenema FC. To achieve the set objective, the research mainly used descriptive method, which involves a variety of research method to achieve its goal, based on the nature of the research qualitative and quantitative data input has been used. As the topic under study particularly focuses on Challenges and Problems to Join Ethiopian Super League in the Case of Assosa Kenema FC, from the 124(100%) total population of current club members 46 (38%) sample size have been selected as participants by random sampling method and census. As a method of data collecting tools, interview, questionnaire, observation and document analysis were addressed. The data gained through these techniques were grouped accordingly and analyzed to explore the major Challenges and Problems to Join Ethiopian Super League by the club. As the result shows, the main constraints are related with managerial, decentralization of authorities, organizational, planning, rules regulations and guide lines, income generating and sponsorship, finance and budget, media coverage, fan attraction, and public relation, community participation, youth players development, coaching method, lack of psychological training, and environmental. To resolve these issues, recommendations are afforded.
