Item Promotion of Entrepreneurial Skills and Abilities Development: Role of Community Based Education in Jimma University.(A.A.U., 2006-07) Amare, Adugna; Krishna, G. Murthy (Dr.)This research was conducted with main objective of measuring the impact of Community Based Education (CBE) in the development of entrepreneurial qualities. As entrepreneurship is the key for economic development of nations, the study has revealed the directional pressure of Community Based Education (CBE) on the development of entrepreneurial qualities in the case of Ji 111 111 a University. The study measures the role of CBE in strengthening one's ability and skill to scan the environment, take risk, value others idea , work in team and so on, which can be generalized as to measure the impact of CDE in strengthening the development of entrepreneurial qualities. The research has considered graduates from three faculties- Medicine, Technology and Business and Economics - to realize the objectives of the study. The result of this research has revealed that CBE has a positive impact lip on the development of entrepreneurial qualities and hence entrepreneurship. But with suggestions Jar further improvement so as to get optimal return from the designed program with regard to promotion of entrepreneurial skills and abilities.
