By the year 2022, 10.6 million people developed symptomatic tuberculosis disease and 1.3 million people died. Studies have shown that not only the lungs, but the disease also affects bone marrow and hematological abnormalities were reported. However, little is known about platelet profile of pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Ethiopia.
