The Portrayal of Society and the Concept of Modernization in Abbe Georgina’s Novels

The church and the People, aAdministration and Litigation, education and itntellingenteial and moral Degeneration are the four aspect of Abbes portrayal of society presented in chapter two. The third chnpter shows the autor's concept of modernizing Ethiopia . In the part attention is paid to the kind of society system favoured educational. and religious reformed and economical progress • The concluding chapter summarizeses the main points that are discussed• in the .nain parts of the study and evaluates Abbe ' s conceots.
