The very objectives of the study is to identify the effect of conjugal visitation on prisoners and the intersection that the right has with other human rights. In order to address the objectives, the study utilizes both qualitative and quantitative research methodology. Data were collected from Families of prisoners, detainees, and Correctional administration staff through questionnaires, survey, observation, in-depth interview and key informant interview. The data obtained were analyzed using Parson Product- Moment Correlation Coefficient and Microsoft excel. These are cross-checked with personal observation of the researcher. Related laws, policies and reform discourses of the country are also reviewed.
