In light of this objective, the study employed descriptive research. Simple random and non-probability sampling designs were employed based on the nature of the target population. Consequently, the study selected a sample of 259 individuals from 767 population. The data analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics. The analysis and finding shows that the factors that affecting SCM like lack of well information sharing on SCM, lack of Understanding the SCM environment, lack of conceptual knowledge on SCM and lack of Support from top management affects the SCM and some of the strategy to mitigate this factors are like Creating external communication systems, the use of performance measurement systems, application of IT in SCM, preparing detail and complete construction materials requirement plans, creating smooth working atmosphere between each process, sub process, section, prepare an extensive and comprehensive training program to equip the best employees.
