However, it is being challenged by the process of urbanization which has been changed and replaced it, by built up areas in city. The study investigates green infrastructure for Mekelle city using mixed methodology and surveying methods. Full sample of the research area was taken based on block division of the research area, primary and secondary data was sources of data and analyzed by GIS software and digitizing maps methods.
