The study considers taking a sample of gasoline from fuel stations at Addis Ababa and conducted two types laboratory testing methods; ASTM D86 (Distillation) and ASTM D1298 (Density determination). In addition a survey is conducted to assess consumer’s awareness and government authority’s effectiveness in controlling the fuel adulteration at Addis petrol stations.
