Seifu Mamo (PhD)Minilik Gashaw2023-12-132023-12-132023-06http://etd.aau.edu.et/handle/123456789/785This study aims to examine the feasibility and challenges of implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in the Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU). The research design used was an analytical study, and the source population was the employees of the EEU. The data was collected through a survey method and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative measurements. The study found that while government policies and regulations may play a role in promoting ERP adoption, there are varying opinions on their effectiveness. Additionally, the organization's technical readiness for implementing the ERP system was found to be higher than the successful implementation of the ERP system in the EEU. And the respondents for the questionnaires was professional whom took the training prepared by the organization.
