The vibrant construction scene in Addis Ababa showcases the city's continuous urban evolution with its high rise buildings, bustling cranes, and heavy machinery. This study is essential as the company has neglected safety, resulting in multiple accidents over time. Identifying the deficiencies in safety management within the company can lead to the development of solutions to improve safety practices. This involves analyzing organizational and cultural factors, engaging stakeholders, implementing effective safety methods, and striving for ongoing enhancements. The study delves into how the organizational climate influences safety management at Noah Real Estate, employing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Utilizing Slovin’s formula and stratified sampling, 53 questionnaires were distributed, with approximately 50 returned, although some were incomplete. The research follows a descriptive design to evaluate the company's existing safety protocols. Issues such as limited access to personal protective equipment, inadequate staff training, and a lack of safety officers contribute to substandard safety procedures at Noah Real Estate. To address these shortcomings, the organization should prioritize regular safety training, proactive safety meetings, and a culture that values safety compliance. Empowering employees to take responsibility for safety, enforcing standards consistently, and fostering open communication are crucial steps in enhancing safety practices. By moving away from a traditional top down safety approach and encouraging a more participatory safety culture, senior management can create a safer work environment where employees are empowered and supported with the necessary resources to perform their duties safely.
