A total of 21 students for the intervention group and 65 students for the comparison group were selected using multi-stage sampling technique for the study. There was an intervention for a period of one month for the intervention group. The significance difference in outlook towards the teaching profession before and after the intervention was determined using independent samples t-test and paired sample t-test. Percentage comparisons were also made to see the difference before and after the intervention. The quantitative findings were also reinforced by qualitative data. A significant difference in positive outlook towards teaching was observed between the comparison and intervention groups and within the intervention group after the intervention when compared with the results before the intervention. The findings of the study suggest that trainee teachers in the intervention group have shown more positive outlook towards their future profession after the intervention than that of trainee teachers in the control group and their own results before the interventionenTeaching professionEnhancing positive outlook towards the teaching profession of trainee teachers through the use of educational films and workshopsThesis
