The objective is to identify the determinants of agricultural insurance among uptake of agribusinesses enterprises in Meki, A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews was employed. The variables examined included perceived benefits, access and affordability, trust and social networks, knowledge and awareness, risk attitude, government support, and risk perception. Data from 167 usable questionnaires were analyzed using regression analysis in SPSS version 26.0. The findings revealed that risk perception, knowledge and awareness, access and affordability, government support, and social networks significantly influenced insurance uptake. The study suggests the need for targeted interventions to improve awareness, enhance access and affordability, and strengthen government support and social networks to promote agricultural insurance adoption.
