The main objective of the present study was, to analyze the war reporting of Reuters in war period of Ethiopia. The study employed both quantitative content analysis and qualitative textual analysis methods to undertake secondary data collected from Reuter’s news. A purposive sampling technique was employed to collect news covering after federal government of Ethiopia ceasefire from June 2021 to Dec 2021. Hence, 65 news stories were selected for analysis. Content analysis utilized to collect and analyze data. Among the major findings of the study are: based on news framing analysis Reuters used military conflict war ,violence of war and anti-war frame the most dominant frames Reuters reporting period . This implies the clear interest of western media goals in conflict reporting. They want to heat up war in north part of the country. Because dominantly used destruction of the war news farming methods. The study also indicated that the main Reuters news sources were international organizations and diplomats, which accounted for about 29.23 %of the news stories. The study concluded that Reuters war reporting in after federal government ceasefire news theme and frames reflected mainly the interest of international organization and diplomats. This is an international organization try to interfere Ethiopian peace and security agenda. Therefore, the study concluded that international media outlets impact internal conflicts and over-unity. The age of media war has a clear influence on this country. So the weak performance of the internal media had played its part in the dominance of unverifiable information regarding the country.
