It forms a good way to get income for the investor as well as the government too. The general objective of this research was to assess the social and environmental impact of floriculture industries on the surrounding community with respect to the existing environmental regulation and implementation and assessing a need for strategic environmental assessment which focuses on cumulative impacts. The study was conducted on Tinaw Floriculture industry & the surrounding environment (Zigbabotto village). The necessary data are collected through questioner, interviewing the employee, direct physical site observation and assessing the existing situation of the study area. The finding of the research shows that 80% of the industry uses ground water and 20% is from river.
